Eckland, printed in 1999.This item is a book5 1/2" by 8 1/4" 101 page softcover. This book is in good condition with somesoiling and rubbing covers; there is some sun stain on the pages; I did not see any writing on the page; the pages are readable, clean and tight. Contest includes: the problem was the door. It wouldn’t stay open. On a piper cub, the door is in two pieces- one wide trapezoid for the top half, with plexi-glass for a window, another for the bottom half, covered in yellow fabric, the same as the rest of the airplane. The bottom half works fine because as soon as it’s unlatched it drops right down, and the weight of it keeps it there. The top half, though, pivots upward, and there’s a week little catch to hold the door open when pilot or passenger enters of leaves the cockpit. The catch will hold the door open while taxiing and though takeoff, and much, much more. This book does not have illustrations. Thanks for looking.
